That's such an interesting story! Also to find out that pencils were made like that! I often wonder what happened to things I used to have. They've got to be somewhere!

It’s so cool seeing how pencils used to be made! The sliding part of this one reminded me of those wooden pencil boxes with the sliding lid. It must have taken a lot of skill to make a pencil like this!
