The biggest colouring pencil in the world can be found at Derwent Pencil Museum, Cumbria, UK. It’s a yellow Derwent pencil, and was made at the Derwent Pencil Factory alongside their ordinary sized pencils. The idea for the pencil came from Barbara Murray, technical manager at the factory.
The biggest graphite pencil in the world was built by Ashrita Furman and a team of volunteers to celebrate the 76th birthday of Sri Chinmoy. It can be seen today at the City Museum, St Louis, Missouri, US
The smallest pencil in the world was made by Prakash Chandra Upadhyay It is only 0.5mm wide and very hard to see
