This is priceless! There should be a Nanette board game for everything. The first one that comes to mind is "Getting a new puppy!" the board game. Ooooh and followed by "breaking in a new sketchbook" and "trying a new social media platform." Haha. I could go all day! 😆
Haha! Yes, once you get started your brain just keeps going! I was thinking Unofficial Substack board game too! 🤭
I've certainly heard from others that getting a new puppy is a whole big journey, sounds like board game material! Breaking in a new sketchbook is a great idea! ✏️ 📔 😆
So fun and funny! Work for exposure had me lol-ing. (Though wait, what am I doing here??...existential crisis kicking in). As a mother with two young children I feel like a “get both kids out the door and into the car” could be an entire board game. Someone has to pee, a shoe is missing, peanut butter is where?! Etc etc
Oh my god, what a brilliant idea! So many bizarre things happen when you try to get your kids anywhere, especially when there's a timeframe! And when they all head in different directions at the same time 🤪 😆
This is genius, Nanette! I agree with previous comments - I’d love to see more Nanette board games. I don’t even like board games. But I love this one. 🤩💫
Ah, thank you Miranda! I never played board games as a kid but I've warmed to them over the last few years. Plus I was mostly making myself laugh when I made this one!
Thank you Susannah! Yes, there's definitely something about this time of year, I find November a right slog to get through but once you get to December and lights start appearing in the streets it gets a bit cheerier! I did make myself laugh making this, so glad you found it funny too!

You are genius Nanette!
That's very nice of you Teresa, it was a lot of fun to put together!
What a brilliant idea! I am reaching for my festive pencil case right now...
Haha! Thanks Jane! Festive pencil case is a must!

It looks great fun and very silly. Absolutely perfect!
Oh this is SO good! The perfect humour response to the existential cloud that can arrive and hover a little at this time of year...
Thanks for the share! A really wonderful idea.

Fantastic fun 🤩 😂
Thanks Sam! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it! xx
This is fantastic! Beautiful and fun, Thank you for sharing it. I would be on board for all future board games.
Haha! Thank you Erin! My brain was whirling with board games by the time I'd finishing drawing and gluing this one!
